About this experience
Bolsward, the heart of the Frisian Eleven Cities, has gained a beautiful sustainable and multifunctional building. Thanks to the restoration, renovation and reallocation of the monumental town hall complex, in combination with the new building behind it, Cultuur Historisch Centrum De Tiid was born.
In De Tiid the visitor experiences the strength of various cooperating partners: the municipal office and archive, the library, the tourist office, Museum De Tiid with museum shop, auditorium, wedding hall and catering under one roof. Together they form the new cultural living room of Súdwest-Fryslân. A living room where everyone is welcome.
In De Tiid you can plug into the history of Southwest Friesland, become part of it and make history yourself, in short: this is a place for real stories.
