About this experience
Karlovy Vary is the best-known spa town in the Czech Republic, and its history dates to the 14th century and the reign of Charles IV. The healing powers of the local springs enticed notables such as the Russian Tsar Peter the Great and the German poet Goethe.
The spa town is also known for the production of world-renowned Moser crystal, Carlsbad porcelain, and the traditional Czech herb liqueur, Becherovka.
On this full-day excursion from Prague, you’ll enjoy a guided tour of the town center and marvel at the most famous geyser, Vřídlo Sprudel, gushing its mineral waters to a height of nearly 12 meters!
